The College of Natural Health Sciences Bermuda (CNHS-BDA), has established the Roseth Bean Continuing Education Memorial Program [RBCMP]. Roseth Bean resided at Lefroy House at the time of her passing. The RBCMP allows any staffer who is employed at Lefroy House to receive a free continuing education course valued at 3 CEUs. This program runs annually from June 27th as the beginning of the calendar year through to June 26th of the following year.
The family of Roseth Bean has created this program as an expression of gratitude to Lefroy House Management & Staff for the care and support that was provided to our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend! We are eternally grateful!
Greetings From the Newly Internationally Accredited College of Natural Health Sciences Bermuda.
As President I am pleased to announce that our institution is now fully accredited both locally and internationally. The American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) accepts our programs for meeting the standards in natural health education. Graduates from our school will be eligible apply to AADP for board certification as Holistic Health Practitioners. See our school listing on AADP's website here: https://aadp.net/business-directory/college-of-natural-health-sciences-bermuda/
We are equally as excited about the upcoming school year in which we will continue to utilize e-learning and remote instructional strategies to assist our students. Given that the first year of the program will be the foundation year in which theoretical principles will be taught, there will be no need for our overseas students to travel to Bermuda for the practical portions of the programs which have been restructured to occur during the second year. Hopefully by then the situation with respect to the Corona Virus Pandemic will have resolved itself. In any event, we will make all necessary adjustments in order to ensure that the educational experience is fully maximized.
Wishing you all the very best in health
Dr. Delcina Bean-Burrows, DrOT, DO, DBM, PhD. OCR, PhD PM&R, OTR, RO
CNHS-BDA has upgraded its Bachelor programs to Masters’ level programs. This means that in the upcoming school year commencing in September 2020 the school will confer Master of Science degrees upon its 2023 graduates. We are excited about this move as we believe this will give our students a competitive edge in the natural health arena. This move is also in keeping with our aim to provide high quality natural health education opportunities at an affordable price.
